Meet marina
I create fluid abstract paintings using acrylic and mixed media, focusing on movement, balance, and restrained color. My work is designed to complement modern interiors while offering depth and presence that evolves over time.
My Art Journey
I grew up surrounded by a creative family of painters and writers. I loved to draw, paint and I've even wrote a few books. As a kid, my parents let me paint my bedroom walls in neon colors and then let me paint whatever I wanted on them. Then I grew up, went to college, got married, had kids, and built a career. Along the way, I stopped painting because I was busy adulting. Years later, I wish I could say I started painting again because it had always been my passion. But that’s not my story. Instead, after struggling through tragedy and years of grief after our youngest son passed away, painting found me again. It took a simple, random art project to capture the first glimmer of hope that I needed to start moving forward. Now art heals a bit of my soul everyday.
